The Leabon PV-3000B is a special-shaped vacuum press built for curved work. Instead of a flat platen that comes straight down, the heating box lifts and the vacuum does the forming, so veneer, leather, CPL and other decorative materials can be pulled around a curved workpiece or a door core panel without a clamping frame. It occupies 4300 x 1780 mm of floor space and stands 2200 mm high, which makes it one of the smallest machines able to press a 3 m curved part.
How the PV-3000B works
The workpiece is placed on the 3000 x 1300 mm aluminium platform and covered with the decorative material. The heating box lowers over the table, rotary-vane electric heating brings the upper zone to temperature, and a 140 m³/h vacuum pump with an independent vacuum tank pulls the material down onto the curve. Because the platform is fixed and only the heating box moves, the part does not shift during the cycle.
Key features
- Built for curved work. Designed specifically for veneering curved workpieces and door core panels, and able to press veneer, leather, CPL and similar decorative materials around a radius.
- Compact footprint. 4300 x 1780 x 2200 mm overall, with a 3000 x 1300 mm platform. It takes up little floor space for the part size it handles and has few fault points.
- Lifting heating box. The platform stays fixed and the heating box lifts and lowers, so loading and unloading are straightforward and the part stays located.
- 140 m³/h vacuum pump. Rated pumping speed with an independent vacuum tank reaches the set pressure in a short time, so the forming stage is fast and the pull is strong.
- Rapid heating tube and insulation. A self-made rapid heating tube comes up to temperature quickly, and a high-quality insulation layer provides heat retention, fire resistance and low losses.
- Large aluminium platform. The worktable is a single aluminium platform, which makes loading and unloading of large curved parts easier and saves handling time.
- PLC with touch screen. One-touch operation from a PLC and touch-screen interface, simple enough for a new operator to run after a short briefing.
- Industrial electrical package. High-quality electrical components and high-temperature-resistant heating cable give stable operation over long shifts.
Applications
Curved veneer panels, curved door skins, door core panel veneering, shaped furniture components, and any part where a flat platen press cannot follow the profile. Materials include wood veneer, leather, CPL and other decorative films, with a high-resistance silicone board available as an option.

Why buyers choose this model
Most vacuum presses are flat-bed machines with a fixed heating hood and a moving table. That works for doors and panels, but a curved part needs the heat to come down evenly over the whole profile while the part stays put. The PV-3000B is built the other way round: the platform is fixed, the heating box lifts, and the vacuum does the wrapping. For a plant that already runs a flat-bed press for doors, it adds the curved work that would otherwise have to be outsourced.
At 21.5 kW installed and 2000 kg, it also runs from a normal workshop supply and does not need a special foundation, which keeps the cost of adding curved capacity low.
Frequently Asked Questions
What buyers usually ask about the PV-3000B curved vacuum press.
- What kind of parts is the PV-3000B made for?
- Curved workpieces and door core panels. It presses veneer, leather, CPL and similar decorative materials around a curve, which a flat platen press cannot follow.
- How tall a part can it take?
- 300 mm processing height, with 400 mm of space height inside the heating box.
- Does it need a silicone membrane?
- For veneer, leather and CPL the vacuum draws the material directly onto the part. A high-resistance silicone board is available as an option for high-gloss and special surface work.
- Is the table fixed or moving?
- The 3000 x 1300 mm aluminium platform is fixed and the heating box lifts, so the workpiece stays located throughout the cycle.
- What is the power requirement?
- 21.5 kW installed with rotary vane electric heating in the upper zone, which is a normal workshop supply for this class of machine.
